1 year since BSP SouthPool joined SIDC - 75-fold increase in Intraday Continuous trading volume

We have noticed a significant increase in liquidity of Intraday market since Slovenia joined the Single Intraday Coupling Project (SIDC) on the 19th November 2020.

Total Intraday trading volume noticed a 75-fold increase. Monthly trading volumes in the last 11 months have averaged at 122 GWh, culminating in October 2020 with even 150 GWh traded. We expect even further jump in liquidity in the 2021, when also Italy will join the SIDC project.
