Liquidity on the Intraday market significantly increased

BSP SouthPool joined the European Single Intraday Coupling project (SIDC; former XBID) on the 19th of November 2019. The SIDC solution is based on a common IT system with one Shared Order Book, a Capacity Management Module and a Shipping Module.

We have noticed a significant increase of trading volume on Intraday market on BSP SouthPool. Trading volume in December 2019 reached 98 GWh, in January 2020 85 GWh and in February 2020 74 GWh. Number of trading participant has increased even by 2,5-fold.
