The award En.odmev 15
The award En.odmev 15 goes to BSP SouthPool, Termo tehnika and Riko!
In 2015, Energetika.NET, in cooperation with the rating agency Bisnode, has presented the En.odmev award for the fifth time. »Although we are now all challenged with a much worse economic situation than when we first presented this award, the companies we meet and assess are able to successfully overcome all obstacles,« say the members of the professional commission which announced this year's winners. The recipients of the En.odmev 015 are companies BSP SouthPool, Termo tehnika and Riko.
Members of the En.odmev award commission, which included assist. prof. Andrej Kitanovski, PhD, from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Damir Simonović from Bisnode, Alenka Žumbar Klopčič and Mateja Kegel Kozlevčar from Energetike.NET, agree that in addition to their successful operations, brand visibility, innovation and market penetrability, all three winners have in common that they operate internationally and represent the Slovene energy industry and business not only in the wider region, but also across Europe and further.
BSP SouthPool – Energy Exchange is the winner in the category of small and micro companies. The company has been facing great challenges in the developing regional electricity market, to the development of which it has contributed substantially. The company continues to bring new market players into Slovenia and help Slovenian companies operate in foreign markets. The small but very dedicated team actively connects the Slovenian energy market with neighbouring markets. The BSP SouthPool company policy emphasises responsible use of energy and other resources.
Termo tehnika from Braslovče received the award for the most prominent energy company in the category of medium-sized companies. Not only is this company known as a recipient of numerous business awards, but also as an honest company that cares for its employees, which is so important today. This family-run company with a long tradition has managed to establish strong international partnerships and the large share of its profit is created abroad. It is known as a reliable business partner and producer of quality products. The company not only ensures responsible energy use in its production facilities, its products also guarantee that Slovene and foreign homes are becoming more energy-efficient. Termo tehnika also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and strongly emphasise cooperation with local providers.
Riko is the winner in the category of large companies – the company’s responsible behaviour on the market means it has become a near synonym for outstanding Slovenian companies on the global markets. With its hydropower plants in Macedonia, as well as energy and industrial facilities in the countries of the former Soviet Union, the company has ensured business not only for itself, but also for a number of other Slovenian companies. Despite the global economic crisis, the company continues to pursue its mission and objectives, putting social responsibility even more to the fore of its operations. Riko works with many partners in their projects in the field of energy, environmental protection, industrial engineering and construction, all the while sticking to its paradigm of socially responsible behaviour.
