On 4 February, BSP in cooperation with Borzen, the Slovenian power market operator, successfully conducted the sixth round of public auctions for Termoelektrarna Šoštanj d. o. o., which was the first related to the year 2027.

The two public auctions were carried out in parallel: an auction for the sale of electricity, with five companies participating, and an auction for the purchase of emission allowances, with six companies taking part. The auctions were conducted on the BSP long-term trading platform, which enables fast and straightforward execution of the auctions as well as a high level of flexibility in product definition.
