In accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (hereafter referred to as CACM), the Nominated Electricity Market Operators (hereafter referred to as NEMOs) will hold a public consultation on the following proposals for terms and conditions or methodologies that have been prepared, in cooperation with the relevant TSOs, in accordance with Article 9 of CACM.
ELES, Slovenian transmission system operator, has published invitation to participation on Auction for the purchase of energy to cover losses on the transmission system in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 which will be performed via Euro Market trading platform in cooperation with BSP Energy Exchange.
On 28.9.2016 a milestone of 100 days of successful SI-IT Intraday market coupling was reached. The total traded volume during this period was 126.469,766 MWh. The max daily volume traded on MI2 session was 5.653,212 MWh and on MI5 session 1.085,148 MWh. BSP members accepted the SI-IT market coupling well and look forward to its further development.
Total volume of concluded transactions amounted to 53.807,633 MWh, whereas the volume concluded at MI2 auction was 35.369,874 MWh, at MI5 auction 5.559,259 MWh and 12.878,500 MWh at continuous intraday market. Total intraday volume represents 10,43% of absolute volume (DA+ID) concluded at BSP.
The Austrian-Slovenian market coupling project parties today confirm the successful launch of Day-Ahead market coupling on the Austrian-Slovenian border (AT-SI).
To support transparent and efficient continuous trading market segment, BSP implemented in 2008, a Deutsche Börse ComXerv trading system, which to this day represents a leading commodity trading platform on a global level. At the end of 2012 BSP started organizing Slovenian Intraday electricity market on this platform. In past three and a half years trading volumes on this market segment grew steadily from 30 GWh (Q4 2012) to 120 GWh (Q2 2016).
